Legacy helping to #beatloneliness

On Tuesday night, Legacy Esports’ Rocket League team joined forces with the Australian Red Cross in part of a campaign to #beatloneliness. One in four of all Australians report feeling lonely most or all of the time, and nearly all Australians suffer from loneliness at various points in their lives. Therefore, at an event at GGEZ bar in Melbourne, Legacy became the first team in Australia to re-name themselves ‘Loneliness’ so other teams had the chance to #beatloneliness. Rocket League team members Cyrix and Delusion competed hard against Team Red Cross, which at one point featured Legacy Starcraft II player Probe, to show that coming together is a good step to take in order to #beatloneliness. Cyrix said that it was great being a part of such a good cause. “It felt great to be involved in the Red Cross event, it felt like i was giving back to the…

OPL Split One Wrap-Up

Over the nine weeks, Legacy had some great wins and tight losses, finishing middle of the table in fourth position. That guaranteed their place in the gauntlet, with their first match against Avant Gaming. Despite two losses to Avant over the course of the split, our team managed to step up their game in the Gauntlet. After losing the first game, Legacy bounced back to take games two and three, with captain Claire standing up.
