OPL Split Two vs. Mammoth – Recap

Legacy’s League of Legends squad has dispelled any illusion that last weeks victory was a fluke, with a dominate 2-1 win against Mammoth Esports. Game one was a statement of intent, as Legacy completely dismantled Mammoth in just 24 minutes, 11-0 in turrets, 15-2 in kills, and 4-0 in neutral objectives. While everyone played phenomenally, it was Top Laner Mimic who starred, turning the tables on last split’s MVP Chippys. Mimic scored first blood, solo killed Chippys twice, took first tower, turned around a 1v2 gank at nine minutes, and completely shut his opponent out of the game in a dominating effort on Poppy (4/0/7). Game two saw a resurgent performance from Mammoth who fought back and beat Legacy in 28 minutes. Mammoth Mid Laner Remind put up a dominant performance on Irellia (6/1/6) while Jungler Juves looked more comfortable on Skarner (2/0/9) and Chippys bounced back on Dr. Mundo…

OPL Split Two vs. Bombers – Recap

Legacy’s League of Legends squad took down the Bombers 2-1 over the weekend to earn their first win of OPL Split Two 2018. While week one of the Oceanic Pro League saw the squad lose to a strong Chiefs unit, week two was a complete turn around with solid performances from all the players in a brilliant return to form. Game one featured an interesting team composition, with Rumble for Mimic, Claire on Yasuo and Raid on a bot lane lulu. Despite a strong showing from Mimic, the game was relatively even until a baron attempt at 34 minutes went wrong, which saw the Bombers pick up four kills and quickly end the game. Game two featured a more standard line up, with Claire on Vladimir, Mimic on Gangplank, Raid on Lucian, Only on Olaf, and Decoy on his signature Braum. An early scrap in the river gave the advantage…
