Migration Solutions joins Legacy Esports

Head of Esports Tim Wendel with Korean import Mimic

Legacy Esports is pleased to announce a new partnership with leading migration agency and Australian sports visa specialists, Migration Solutions.

The company, with a successful history of supporting sporting teams and their requirements for international sporting talent, will support Legacy Esports and its future migration service needs.

The Adelaide Football Club acquired Legacy Esports in May 2017, becoming the first professional sporting body in Australia to purchase an esports team.

Adelaide Crows Chief Operating Officer Nigel Smart said Legacy Esports is pleased to have an agreement with Migration Solutions.

“Migration Solutions offers an extensive range of services to assist in the preparation and lodging of our visa applications for sporting talent, as well as ongoing assistance and support where needed,” Smart said.

Migration Solutions was founded in 2001 by Chief Executive Officer Mark Glazbrook, and has since grown into one of Australia’s largest and most comprehensive migration agencies.

Glazbrook said Migration Solutions is delighted to be on board to support Legacy Esports.

“With the growing interest in esports across the globe, immigration applications for esports talent into Australia is very likely to increase, as will the importance of getting specialised migration advice,” Glazbrook said.

“We see Legacy Esports being a major player domestically, and we will support a range of migration needs for coaches, analysts and future players.”

Migration Solutions offered their services to Legacy’s new League of Legends player Min ‘Mimic’ Ju-Sung.

From Korea, Mimic travelled to Australia with help from Migration Solutions, who supported his migration, sponsorship and visa application to Australia.

Having previously played in Europe, at challenger level in Korea and as a sub for South Korean team, KT Roster, Mimic will play his first game for Legacy Esports on Sunday, against Avant Gaming in the Oceanic Pro League.
