Legacy’s entry to the Starcraft II ANZ Pro League

Earlier this year we had the privilege to partner with Sean ‘Probe’ Kempen and have supported him on his journey to WCS events at Dreamhack Valencia and Dreamhack Montreal, as well as local LAN finals at ESL’s studios in Sydney. We have thoroughly enjoyed getting back to our old school roots in immersing ourselves in the Starcraft II competitive scene. When we saw the opportunity to expand with Starcraft II, with early discussion with Blizzard ANZ on a Team League, we jumped at the chance to see where this SC2 journey can unfold.

So we are very proud and excited to announce that Legacy Esports will be one of the 5 starting teams in the ANZ Pro League announced by Blizzard today (https://wcs.starcraft2.com/en-us/news/21184103/ANZ-Proleague-Is-Here/)

With this we have scouted out the ANZ scene to recruit a 6 man squad to provide us with a mix and depth to a roster that we hope will see us take the inaugural league title, as well as develop new talent for the future.

So without further ado, the Legacy Esports Starcraft II ANZ Pro League Team is:

Sean ‘Probe’ Kempen (Captain)

Craig ‘Azure’ MacKechnie
Jamie ‘Peppy’ Austin
Josh ‘RunaMoK’Mcmillan

Noah ‘PigJewnior’ Krensel
Bradley ‘tgun’ Seymour

It is with special excitement we announce tgun’s return to Starcraft 2, an old SC2 Pro from back in the day, Legacy fans would be more used to seeing him across the Rift from us in League of Legends. To have someone of Bradley’s status and experience for our Team League is a huge boon, and an amazing opportunity to explore.

We hope you enjoy the journey with us as we expand our presence and fight our way to glory! ANZ Pro League will be broadcast from 7PM Tuesdays and Thursday starting next week.
