Legacy welcomes SnypeR

Legacy Esports is pleased to announce the appointment of Counter-Strike legend Iain “SnypeR” Turner as manager of our CS:GO division.

SnypeR has had a storied career, competing both in CS:GO and CS Source in some of Australia’s most competitive teams.

He most notably played with Vox Eminor, the first Australian team to make a major, and Team Immunity, who he in-game led to another major.

More recently, SnypeR’s knowledge of the game and Australasian scene has seen him work as a commentator and analyst for big events such as IEM Sydney and ROG Masters 2017 Malaysia.

Legacy’s Head of Esports Tim Wendel said the signing of SnypeR is an indication of exciting times for the CS:GO squad.

“Having an individual of SnypeR’s experience and distinguished status on board will no doubt be a huge asset,” Wendel said.

“Working alongside him will develop our understanding of the CS:GO scene and assist us in creating the best possible CS:GO roster.”

SnypeR agreed, saying that he is eager to begin a new chapter of his career with Legacy.

“The CS:GO roster currently represents a thrilling opportunity to gather some of Australia’s top talents under one organisation,” SnypeR said.

“From there, the intention is to create an environment focused on fostering high performance competitors who will match it with not only the best in Australia, but the best in the world.”

Legacy’s CS:GO roster is in the progress of being finalised for the 2018 season, and should be announced in the coming weeks.
