Legacy Esports CSGO roster announcement 2018

Legacy Esports have acquired lol123 as their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster.

The announcement follows the addition of Australian Counter-Strike Legend Iain “SnypeR” Turner to Legacy’s staff as the manager and coach of our CS:GO division.

“I have been very impressed with their performances over the last couple of months,” SnypeR said.

“This is a young team and I believe that given time, resources and coaching we will help them realise their full potential”

The multi-national lineup consists of Australians Peter “BL1TZ” Athanasatos, Hugh “Stat” Anderson and Chris “Yellow” McGillivray as well as New Zealander Egor “LONS” Baranov and Korean Jay “soju_j” Jeong.

Tim Wendel, Legacy’s Head of Esports, says he is excited to see the organisation competing with a concrete Counter-Strike crew again.

“Legacy has had a successful history of competition in CSGO and with this new roster we are hoping that Iain and the clubs resources will be able to develop them into a quality team” Tim said.

“I would like to thank dizzy and mattcd for their contributions to Legacy and wish them the very best as they move on to new opportunities.”

The squad is currently competing in the ESEA Mountain Dew League and are the first seed heading into the upcoming Australian Esports Masters LAN.
